I especially love the meetings where cats show up on their owners’ screens, instantly getting all attention from those attending the meeting. All of a sudden these important things are not so important anymore.

We gather in the silent glow of screens,
Far-flung, yet joined by urgent words we share,
When, softly treading in her graceful means,
A ragdoll cat across our sight doth fare.

Her gentle paws disturb the steady flow,
Yet hearts grow light with each delighted grin;
A playful glance breaks tension none could show,
As laughter stirs a warmth we hold within.

In that small spark, a common bond is born—
For fellow cat-lovers greet her sweet display,
While others, too, find daily cares outworn,
Their spirits eased by whimsy’s fleeting stay.

So let her prowl unbidden into view,
She brings us joy and sets our hopes anew.
